This recipe brings back memories of my school days

always loved hot butter rolls with my lunch

Well my recipe is quick and easy like always 

And of course they will impress your family and friends 

You can make the rolls ahead and freeze the and just take out and proof and cook when u need them( I always have rolls ready to bake in my  freezer)


4 cup bread  flour 

2 oz active yeast(1 package)2 teaspoons) 

2 tablespoons granulated sugar 

1/2 teaspoon salt 

1 cup  whole milk(warm) 

2 eggs

 2 tablespoons butter( melted) 


Combine flour,yeast sugar and salt in mixing bowl 

Heat milk eggs , and butter together and add to mixture and mix for 4 minutes

Add additional flour if too wet 

Stir until form a slightly sticky dough 

Place on flour surface and knead for 10 minutes 

Cover and let rest 45 minutes 

Divide dough into 12 pieces and shape into balls or cut in strips and fold over 

Place on  in baking pan and cover and let rise about 30 minutes in warm place 

Brush with butter and cook for 20 minutes on 350 degree oven 

Brush with additional butter and enjoy

This recipe makes 1 dozen rolls
