Full Job Description

The role of Research Associate in the Equity Research Department at JP Morgan Asset Management is to support Senior Research Analysts in their efforts to analyze companies and generate positive investment performance. Research Associates will be expected to do a wide range of research projects to aid in the investment process, including building financial models and industry frameworks as well as company/industry-specific ad hoc projects. Successful Research Associates are self-motivated, demonstrate analytical aptitude and attention to detail, and have a strong interest in investing.

Essential skills / Qualification:

• 1-3 years of relevant industry experience
• Strong analytical skills, high aptitude for numbers; ability to identify trends through numerical analysis
• Strong technical skills, particularly in MS excel. Coding experience with VBA is preferred
• Motivation to learn and manage projects independently
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Passion for and interest in investing
