Job Description

What You’ll Achieve

As a Sr. Advisor, Product Manager you will be responsible for Dell Storage integrations with Data Protection solutions. You will work with Product Management leaders across Dell Storage and Data Protection teams to identify “better together” solutions that deliver differentiated capabilities that provide increased data protection performance and efficiency.

You will:

• Work with peer PMs to create EPICs by articulating use case, user roles, benefits and acceptance criteria for storage integrations across Dell NAS (Ex. PowerScale) and primary storage (ex. PowerStore and PowerMax)
• Order / groom the storage integration Epic backlog, based on changing business priorities (customer value), dependencies, customer escalations, defects, risks and other relevant factors.
• Understand dependencies between Storage and Data Protection engineering teams, communicate timelines and build roadmap of deliverables between teams
• Manage customer escalations, RPQ’s and RFE’s specific to the UoM scrum team working with PM

Essential Requirements

• Ability to maintain customer contact to demonstrate incremental value delivered, refine requirements, solicit feedback and requirements, and refine the backlog ranking and user stories
• Understand customer needs, market requirements, and technology trends to enable us to develop solutions to internal and external business problems; Ability to translate commercial and market needs into technical requirements with a clear definition of done.
• Experience with and understanding of data protection software products and an entrepreneurial drive to design new, innovative, and disruptive solutions to existing sales and operational challenges.
• 8+ years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree or 5 years with a Master's degree or equivalent experience
  
  

Desirable Requirements

• Strong understanding of with Agile Methodology and tools like Confluence and Jira, and working with Scrum model
• Gain technical expertise needed to weigh into product backlog and architecture decision that drive customer value
• Ability to work across multiple orgs, drive customer engagement with a high level of detail and rapid execution
